On February 29, 2020, Social Studies Program, Department of General Education of Faculty of Liberal Arts, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, Songkhla, created a project to manage the cultural database of the Lower Utapao Canal Community at Ban Huanon Wat community, Mea Tom subdistrict and Khu Tao Community Museum, Bang Klam district, Songkhla. Asst. Manaswas Kulwong, lecturer of Social Studies ProGram is the head of the project and Dr. Nuchalee Thipmontha, dean of Faculty of Liberal Arts, presided over the opening ceremony.
